Prof. Dr.-Ing. T.Tawakoli has been a professor of Mechanical Engineering at Furtwangen Universityin Germanysince 1994. He is the founder of the research Institute of Grinding Technology and Precision Engineering (KSF). Prof.Tawakoli published more than 230 works and worked on various national,international, EU, DFG, AIF and BMFT projects or presided them. Numerousindustry, research and consulting projects for companies such as Sandvik, Ford,Siemens/KWU, Norton, Aesculap, Daimler, ABB, Stihl, Siemens, Alstom, Bosch,MAG-Company, Speno International, Reishauer in CH. etc. have been accomplishedsuccessfully under his management. He is also the director of the consultingcompany “Steinbeis Transferzentrum Advanced Engineering Technology” in FreiburgGermany.
